CITB Approved Training

Every construction project, large or small, new­build or refurbishment, has its own unique temporary works challenges.

The design, procurement, installation and safe removal of temporary works often involves several organisations; a successful project is one in which all parties work together harmoniously with well managed interfaces.

The responsibility to manage these interfaces and oversee the development of Temporary Works solutions is that of the Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC).

It is therefore of paramount importance that these individuals receive relevant and comprehensive training to allow them to carry out these critical aspects safely and effectively.

However, Temporary Works isn’t just the responsibility of the TWC, it affects everyone involved in a construction project and has significant implications on health and safety, cost, programme and quality.

To ensure that construction projects have adequate cost and programme provision to deliver the most suitable Temporary Works solutions, those involved in commercial and planning roles should have a basic awareness of Temporary Works, as a minimum.

We are a CITB Approved Training Organisation and offer accredited Temporary Works training courses.

Our current list of courses includes:

  • Temporary Works Coordinator Training Course (TWCTC)

  • Temporary Works Supervisor Training Course (TWSTC)

  • Temporary Works General Awareness Training (TWGATC)

We have an in­house COVID secure training facility and can also deliver courses remotely through online platforms.

We always tailor our courses to suit the specific needs and operational requirements of our clients, taking time to understand which elements of Temporary Works most effect you.

We also review any existing Temporary Works procedures you may already be implementing and reference your own procedural control system where appropriate.

All of our trainers are Chartered Engineers and have extensive experience in the on­site management of Temporary Works and Temporary Works design.
