Coventry Station MSCP

When Buckingham Group Contracting began works on Phase 2 of the Coventry Station Masterplan project, they trusted Rubix Consulting to assist with the Temporary Works Package.
The £28.8 million contract involves the construction of a multi-storey car park for 633 vehicles, a new station concourse with access to all platforms and a below-ground access tunnel to a new bus interchange. Rubix Consulting worked closely alongside Buckingham Group, their subcontractors, and their specialist steel frame designer.
Amongst other items, Rubix Consulting checked and approved the use of various construction plant and machinery, including a spider crane, to operate on the suspended composite floor and roof slabs. Ideas were shared, challenges discussed, and project milestones met together.
